What exactly defines "Special Forces?" Is it graduating from one of the schools, or being part of a subsequent select group or...?
My dad graduated from Airborne and Ranger school, but I don't know if that puts him in the "special forces" camp or not... I've definitely never heard him use that term. |

incredible pic. that dawg and the halo dude are CRAZIER THAN A SHAAT HOUSE RAT!
now my question??????????????? does the combat wombat dawg have a REBREATHER?????? i met my HALO friends on a commercial flight from phx to albur-turkey new messiko. they were going to kirtland a.f.b. and then down to hollomon a.f.b.. some of the nicest nutjobs i have EVAR MET> funnier than hell, smart as hell, and none of them had an attitude "we are better than others". just regular joes with some crazier than hell stories. in barbados back in 2007, while touring the MT.GAY RUM FACTORY(oldest rum in the new world-300+ years old) , i was wearing one of my scubee -doobee t-shirts, and ran into (6) navy divers attached to the u.s.s. philippine sea. (CG-58) ticonderoga class. they were on drug interdiction duty and had just returned from off of brazil. basically they told me they ARE THE POINT OF THE SPEAR for ANY/ALL INCOMING CRAP coming from africa/middle east and all south eastern points from u.s. soil. the drug interdiction gig was for poos and giggles and a sideline to their main duties. hell of an afternoon with them and told them about the wrecks we had already dived on and the "good" nightlife we had found. just regular joes on a mission to keep all of us safe from bad guys. cruisers are bad azz when yer standing on the dock right next to them. not bad liberty for them in barbados in comparison to some of the other crap holes they get liberty in. |

Rangers are light infantry commandos. They are under the SOCOM umbrella, so can be rightly called SPECOPS troops i would think. |
