That looks nice.

What are the details? What car is it in and what is inside the purdy engine?

It's in my 69 911S that still raced. Alum case, built with loving care by my mechanic to our local vinage racing rules. It sure sounds good. :Dhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1386688268.jpg

Blue Chip Replica: 1965 Porsche 904 6-Cylinder
Blue Chip Replica: 1965 Porsche 904 6-Cylinder

This Porsche 904 replica has the right look with the right curves and properly widened steel wheels. It is powered by a 1974 Porsche 911 engine punched out to 2.9L with a claimed 330 horsepower at 8500 RPM. .......................

The 6-cylinder looks right at home, and even a wild build of this engine would be much cheaper and more powerful than a 4-cam Carrera engine, so we think this is the right way to go. 330 horsepower might be quite a bit to handle though… can there ever be too much?

Shot of a 1960 300SL Roadster engine bay. Never thought they were twin plugged, and cannot find any explanation of same. But I see two coils...
