Casting, building and maintaining a German 20 cylinder, 13,400 HP diesel engine.
(Interesting con-rod tensioning - 26000psi - at 28:00) No clue what they're doing there.

I think I understand the narrator to say those are dummy rod end bolts. It almost sounded like he said "white dummy." I suppose you could turn on captions.

The 1964 Viceroy engine with cyl.head fins milled to a "pent-house" shape to reduce resonance.

The Viceroy engine was very unusual having a 250 cc flat twin two stroke motor. It had reed valve induction because having a common crankcase piston controlled porting would require twin carburettors or an exceptionally long and cumbersome manifold.......................

It was a very powerful motor for the day and would pull the scooter along at speeds in excess of 65mph which was quite quick in its day considering that many 350 cc bikes around at the time did not go any faster.

Love it...because it reminds me of a local happening. A guy here took this engine from his dad's gran prix (Pontiac), swapped it into his 326 Lemans, giving dad the Lemans engine. The jig was up when dad took the Gran Prix to the dealership complaining of power loss.

now to see if I can find an engine pic.

The Emory-Rothsport Outlaw-4 is a very special creation. Its concept is simple, based on the 3.6-liter dry-sump engine architecture from the Type 964. We designed an original sand-cast 4-cylinder case that incorporates the best features from three different iterations of the venerable 911 engine. .........
