..still trying hard to wrap my head around the mechanics on this.
Time was, that if you raise compression, you get more power in the punch.
I get reducing the compression for the turbos though.

I built my first VW motor on an upside down trash can next to my parent's back porch with a book laying on the porch steps...led to a 42 year career as a Porsche mechanic. Who'd a thunk it?

FWIW, That motor is also available in the Altima - so, it might be an across-the-board option in all of Nissandom.
