Sweet! Wasn't the blue one was it? Interesting. Ive heard good things about the RCR GT40 builds. One day. I was talked out of building one a few years ago. Seems like lots build them then get rid of them bc they are not very good cars to drive ... comfort and visibility. I settled on a cobra instead. Still might build one or a 63 Corvette GS. GS is probably my next build after I get the RSR done.

Those 8 little air filters on each trumpet look neat, but I bet you are robbing some horsepower there. I did some back to back testing on a restricted intake with an air filter just like those a few inches ahead of the neck of the inlet restrictor, air filter on vs air filter off, panty hose stretched over the trumpet for a filter.

Huge gains without the cone filter. It was a 110HP motor and we saw an extra 6 HP or so peak without the filter.

It would make a cool coffee table for a repair shop waiting room.

This is my almost completed 8 year restoration / project. Michael Mount built 3.4 - 10:1 compression, Elgin cams custom grind, turbo oil pump, ARP hardware, cylinder heads have larger intake valves with some mild porting / blending, 964 plastic intake with resonance flap controlled by MSD trigger box, Lindsey Mass air conversion and Motronic DME board modified and custom chip by Steve Wong, B&B stainless exhaust, custom oil breather, MSD ignition, billet lower cam covers, one-off custom braided oil and fuel lines, Wide band O2 with data logging, etc ,etc.

Just got it running last week and sounds awesome! has a definite lopey/rolling idle with instant throttle response that revs and sounds more like an old F1 car!

Ta-Da!

Not as much as you would think. They are very free flowing KN filters. Most Roush engines come with this filter set up. Not as bad as say the filter socks you see on alot of TB/carb set up. I figure even if I lose 8-10 HP on a 600Hp engine its a ton better then sucking a rock or crap down into my intake, lol. I had 100mm stack with out the filters but was was concerned about rocks. The 100mm stacks looked nasty !
