Any help?

Pavulon, if you look closely, that isn't a carburetor either, it's an aftermarket throttle body injection setup. It's not a small block either.

Not as fancy as most on the thread, but it's mine and was fun to do.

I'm sure the 16-cylinder 917 is already in this thread somewhere, but here are a few more anyway:

That 16 cyl certainly makes it to a lot of shows. I thought the factory owned it, but does it live in the U.S. ?

Anyone ever heard it run? Do they start it at these shows?

It is from the factory museum. I do not think it has been run in a long long time. The project did not go anywhere since the engine was too long and heavy so Mark Donohue said the car did not handle well. The turbo 12 put out more power so they focused on getting the drivability and reliability out of the 12.

Donohue thought the 16 cylinder could be turbocharged to 2000 horsepower "if needed".

You did a beautiful job on that. A real nice touch would be to do the letters on your intakes in black. Would really pop on that fabulous blue intake.

I am probably setting myself up for a load of stinging ripostes - Where is the fourth exhaust outlet pipe on this photo? Go easy!!

Cheers
