That Peugeot (diesel?) looks to be largely carved of one chunk...but I think it must be an end plate that makes it appear that way.

![]() Nothing exotic or rare. It is MY engine almost ready to go back in the car. It came out for a re-seal. It had oil leaks everywhere. Those are gone. It will be great to have a dry floor. 146,000 miles and still a very solid engine.

Anyone know the story or engine type on this twin fan model at the museum. Apparently it was a 911 prototype. I can't find a better photo:

I could make out the characters in the photo - The engine is a typ 745; a 2,0l flat six.
