Bells is one of my very favorite surf spots. I think I've had it good 75% of the time I've visited the area, and the bulk of the shortboard crowd surfs over @ Winkipops ..

Spent two plus hours in the water this morning starting at about 6:30am
Was the only one out for a bit then a gentleman paddled over from one of the anchored boats. We were the only two until about 8:30. Waves were chest high when the sets rolled in. Water was crystal clear and about 66 degrees. Shorts and a wetsuit top was all that was needed. Pre surf pic
