Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

I was born in Berlin so I wanted to have the 'B' district code. I also wanted it to be in a format that could be on a 'real' plate. The car is an '88, not terribly creative but it's all I could think of.

The license plate on my 944na reads, UAV M1 - that's "Urban Assault Vehicle Model 1", like a military designation.

The other 944 is licensed as "ORACLE" - People ask me for their fortune to be told, and I just say "If you race me you will loose."

I wanted to get a personal plate that was XTCNXS, that reads as "Ecstasy In Excess", but the state here would not allow it - they sais it was a drug related thing - WTF.

REZIPSA was mine in CA on the 911. Oregon only has 6 digits though. But we do have a nice tree in the middle.

(replace Z with the phonetically similar S, and think Latin.)

When I lived in Northern Virginia, there was a car that used to have "I952FL". (Interstate 95 to Florida). I thought that was cool, so I got this as mine 2FLN88 (To Florida in 1988) because that was the year that I was graduating HS and I was planning to go to college in Florida.

I saw a smoking hot blonde in a '89 Speedster with the plate PURRANA several years ago.

An ********* in a long hood 911 wouldn't let me merge into his lane on the 405 last week. His plate was TOPVDO, whatever that means.

I always wanted ROYLRID back when I had a Range Rover.

And for my next Ferrari, it will be some derivative of CAZZO

My 944 has a BSA plate numbered 608-P4.

Anyone want to guess what the number means?
