I still think she had something to do with the murder.... I don't know why.

Actually, that is NOT what this recent decision was about - quite the opposite, actually. Even though there are some rumblings from the prosecutor for appeal(to save his image) this last court found that she and her BF could not have done it. --there's a big difference there.

Your point is?

Let her have all the fun she wants so, as now she has really been through hell...
Firstly, I don't believe that male and female sexuality is identical. What's "normal" for males is not "normal" for females. I think if you read the comments by her classmates (assuming they are not fabricated) paint a picture that she was NOT normal, even by the standards of her peers.

Secondly, a lot of her defenders make her out to be this cute, innocent girl accused of being involved in something that she was incapable of. Look, I agree that her past behavior is not a reason in and of itself to prove anything, and I agree that there doesn't appear to be enough evidence to warrant a conviction. However, when you take into account ALL of the facts surrounding the case, it seems pretty fishy to me. If I had to guess, I'd say at a minimum she knows more than she's admitting.

Finally, I'm not sure what you mean by "Let her have all the fun she wants so, as now she has really been through hell..." Her roommate went through "hell" prior to her death, and Amanda's reaction upon hearing the news -- doing cartwheels and the splits and flirting with her "boyfriend" of a week while waiting to be interviewed by the police -- is the behavior of a pretty sociopathic personality I'd have to say.

I have to say I find it pretty amazing that so many seem to worship her. A finding of "not guilty" (which I might agree with on technical grounds) is NOT a finding of innocence. I think it's quite likely that a murderess is going free, and while that's maybe what has to happen in this case, it's not a reason for celebration.

That's not a crime and not even a shred of evidence of guilt. I don't know how it works in Italy. But in the US I wouldn't tell the cops ANYTHING unless I had a written guarantee of immunity on the table. The fact that someone is itching to get a conviction is all the reason I'd ever need to not ever tell a soul if I knew something about the case.

1. what clued you in?

2. or it might be a stress reaction

sociopath has a technical definition - it appears you are just throwing it out there

do you think the court heard any testimony about her behavior?? from experts even?

I find it amazing that everybody (not just on Pelican) feels they have to have an opinion about this case and all other high-profiled cases. 99.9999% of the people did not read a damn thing about the case outside of the news. Did they read every piece of evidence that was presented to the jurors and/or judge? I bet not. So how can one claim her innocence or guilt while being naturally ignorant of every aspect of the case? Aside from whatever a journalist wrote.

Because this is the interweb.

I have no idea if she did it or not. And I don't much care. But the thing I hear most often about the case is that she knows more than she's saying, which is about as meaningful (legally and otherwise) as my jock itch.
