At the bank today
So I'm at the bank today for a wire transfer to China. I sit and wait, "girl" comes over to pull me into her office and get all the info. I figure she's 22, 24 tops. And looks like she just walked off the beach of a SI swimsuit photoshoot. not your average banker.
so we're talking about the wire, who it's to, about the company, and she goes into how her mom is a designer back home in Jamaica and she's always had an interest in fashion, we talk about the designer I just hired here, local schools for fashion, NY, etc. OK, nice small talk. I'm feeling more paternal than anything, encouraging her to follow her dreams while she's young... Needs to photocopy my license. Goes and does that. Wire complete. Great. I then say thanks for your help, I need to go and make a deposit, have a nice day. She says, OK, I'll help you with the deposit. Me: that's OK, I'm fine. She follows me out and stands in line with me. Talking. She goes out of her way to mention she's 30, I'm 44. I actually laughed out loud and told her I thought she was 22. She took it well. Long line, chatted about the company, fashion, Jamaica a bit. This neat old lady joined in the conversation. Made the deposit and then she goes to her office and gives me her card on leaving. I say goodbye. never had that happen before. a nice day.

I'm standing in line at the courthouse and I don't see that happening with me.

I've stood in a 1000 places and that never happened to me. I think you better do some more banking.

Sounds to me like she was "interested".
Any ring on her finger? When's your first date?

So, was there a number hand written on the card? I'm not all that good at reading the "signs" that they send, but that seems like it was a pretty strong one to me.

Just outta curiosity, how big was the wire transfer? She's in a target rich environment hunting for sugar daddies! LOL
Next time try to do some "banking" close to closing time. On a Friday afternoon. Don't forget to manscape before hand. And pack a dopp kit. And condoms.

She's probably posting on Facebook about how she tried to pick up a guy in her bank and he was sweet, but clueless.

I had that happen to me once. I got a considerable sign on bonus at a job that came in as a live check. I went to the bank to deposit it. I even had one of my stepkids with me. The girl was definitely flirting. I suppose she thought the stepkid was a younger sibling. My wife is a bit older than I am and I do, or at least did, look young for my age. Mine was cute, but apparently not as cute at Shawns.
