Any Ford Raptor owners here?
So i've been looking at them lately, wanting to sell the cayenne TT, and get a truck. With camping and all the other sports, just need more room and the ability to go farther than the cayenne can towing a trailer.
I looked at a raptor yesterday with the family and they all liked it. We were all surprised how much internal room it had. It's the price that's the only issue for me. We were lookng at an 2011, so i figured to wait until next year and see what happens with the pricing. Anyone here have one? Thoughts, issues, likes, dislikes.... Thanks Bob

$55K for an upgraded pick em up. decals(de-kals) and some nice suspension.
it AINT A PRE RUNNER and it AINT A TROPHY TRUCK!

I have a friend that has had one for a year. Impressive performance for a truck. Gas mileage is not great but he loves it.

Its a cool truck, that performs well off road, not meant to be raced however. Just for having a bit of fun. Here's a tuned one.... |

I would vote against it only because its new. Your going to take brutal depreciation hit on it.
Find a loaded 2-3 year old F-150 supercab and save yourself 20Gs.

I just can't even imagine a 4x4 gas truck. A stock PS diesel has 800 lbs/ft torque. What does this have? They look like crap to me, and I am a Ford guy.

Problem with the diesel is the weight. I've had the dodge sink on me when the gas trucks just kept on going....

A family friend has a GTR and takes his kids to school in it. His wife his asking
(forcing) him to sell it so the kids have more room. He is planning on buying a Raptor as a replacement. She has no idea that it is a hot rod truck. So Raptors do serve a purpose; they can fool a spouse into thinking your only buying a "truck".
