Nice DB 2. I passed on buying a nice roller, minus engine/trans for $500 back in 1977. I was in college at the time. Oh, well.

If you had fitted a Jag engine/gearbox you would have had a better car---but you didn't hear me say that!
This car is nice to own but nowhere near as nice to drive as a 911.

The Crewcab benefits from the trickle down theory. '86 3.2, 46mm PMO's, Electromotive crank fire, '86 5 speed trans w/7:31 r&p, Wevo shifter, Porsche custom gauges, Scheel sport seats, Wevo adjustable 911 rear shocks, Koni adjustable front shocks, 4 wheel disk brakes, rear 8.5x16 3pc Fuchs w/245/45/16, fronts 7x16's w/205/50/16s.
On the more practical side 2003 Eurovan work & tow vehicle.

90 Miata I bought for $500 with 86k on the clock. I added suspension goodies and wheels/tires. 2nd slowest car I've ever owned, but probably one of the best handling.
