^^^ Yes...but the match books were required to play the 8 track tape.
The cartridge had a tendency to sag with it's weight....stuff the matchbook underneath...Voila!

Riiiiight. I was thinking about the bong hits needed to really get the NUANCE of the words and the music. I forgot about needing to noodle around with the cartridge...

There is an 8-track only version of Animals, where Pigs on the Wing parts 1 and 2 are played back to back with Snowy White playing a killer solo between the two songs. I found it on YouTube years ago.

Next month I'll have the pleasure of seeing a tribute band called Brit Floyd for the third time. If you enjoy Pink Floyd's music and want to experience it played live with the accuracy and respect that it deserves, check out this band if you have the opportunity. You won't be disappointed...
