This MSM is a new one on me . I'll have to try it.

I use stuff called Lyprinol. It's a drivative of green lipped muscles and works as an anti inflamatory. I've used it daily for about 7 years I guess. I've always been an athritus sorta person, even as a little kid, but this keeps it at bay 99% of the time. It's not an overnight fix but after a couple of weeks you get that "Actually I'm feeling quite good" feel.

Yep, I have been taking Glucosamine/chondroitin for about 5 years now. Arthritis in the knees and hands is much improved.

Well, right as the bottle was getting low, I seemed to be improving a little. By the end of the second bottle I had to admit m knees were noticably better. More or less the same thing with me Lee... the problem with most people is that they do not take enough. I take two tabs, one early, one late and months in it sure is working... and anything that keeps me off of Celebrex is a good thing.

Running is one of the worst things you can do to your knees... Find some other form of exercise and your knees will thank you. Stay AWAY from Celebrex...it's very dangerous

As well you cannot take it and expect results tomorrow. Takes a while, like couple of weeks to a month to build up but once it does works fine.

My dogs do, it is in their food. I asked them if it helped, they just looked at me funny.

Used to take mine in the morning along with my other vitamins.

Was told I should be taking my Omega with the heaviest meal of the day which for me is dinner.

Omega works better when your body is digesting/dealing with fat from the meal.

Also my daily aspirin is better to take in the evening so I just started taking everything after dinner.

I noticed I wake up much "looser" than when I took it in the AM.

Well. I'm in the WTH camp. Just talked to some health store owner. I picked up a bottle of her best stuff. She said three a day. We will see. I did check with my doc first. He said 50% claim it works.

Nevermind! At first it plugged me up and then it didn't. Forget it. I'll try another brand maybe.

Like Stomachmonkey, I use Tripleflex from Costco. If I miss taking it for two days, I pay the price with hands that are stiff and sore.

Cliff, my brother swears by it,, I've tried it ,, but then I've had two knees and a hip replacement.. Best advise I can give you,, get a bike, quit running, keep up the weight training, stay hydrated..
Also tried the Syn Visc,, no luck here,, but then my latest knee replacement (on the 13th) my ortho said there was zero cartilage left..
Oh and my doc said it's 50/50 on wether it works. You're young take care of your body!

No supplements here. Anything that you dose higher than what you may get naturally can be a problem IMHO. I don't throw away much off the animals I hunt and enjoy tendon, cartilage and gnawing on bones and hope this may help - re-applying some of the ingredients to my body

So far so good, on a set of flimsy knees and despite a serious meniscus / ACL injury 20 years ago.
