Little Russ and Peps.

Steve Carlton 08-28-2025 09:05 PM

I hope you get the rescue. Little Russ would probably appreciate it and Peps probably would've wanted you to do it.

What a cutie pie. You have it backwards, you need a puppy to keep you young!

Sweet! Good looking pup.

She is a real handful. I live on 5 acres and my last girl never needed a leash. This one has wandered off a couple of times. I purchased a training collar and it has transformed her. Now when I call her she either comes or lays down. It’s on vibrate and catches her attention very quickly.

Good for you for looking after her......so important!!!

Does she have a name yet?

She's a cutie!!!

Bugsinrugs 09-04-2025 07:24 PM

Her name is Luna. My last girl crushed me when she died. This one is finally stealing my heart.

What a wonderful time of the year. The weeds with burrs are in full bloom.
The dopey hound dog is out back, hunting for rabbits or squirrels or possums or whatever else might be out, and of course it is raining. She came back in just covered in burrs and soaking wet. I think the wife and I spent a good 45 minutes trying to get all the burrs out.

Mia gets a kick out of water being sprayed at her. I was aiming the water, but not the phone so much. Anyway...

I just wanted to share my experience. My dog has become more than just a companion, and last year I turned to Wellness Wag for an ESA letter. The whole process was simple and quick, and now I have peace of mind knowing my documents are in order for housing and travel.

Today would have been Bodhi's 21st birthday. He lived to the ripe old age of 18 and he was awesome. I remember seeing him for the first time weeks before I bought him for my ex at 8 weeks of age. Big thick coat that bounced when he walked. He was an old soul. If I could have named him after getting to know his personality, I would have named him Walter. My ex named him Bodhi from Buddhism. I got him back after her older dog didn't like him- super lucky! After his first haircut:

Here is my little buddy. Had him about 6 weeks so far, and he gets into a lot of mischief. I filled up my pond in town 20 years ago and grew plants. Decided I wanted a pond again and dug out 5000 lbs of soil and rock. Then I had to patch the concrete. Finally filled it with water today and less than an hour later...

So sorry for your loss but I'm sure she had a great life. Thanks for giving her a loving home.

Sorry to hear that your pup has crossed the bridge. She looked like a lovely girl.
"Dog's lives are too short. Their only fault, really."

We were lucky to have our 5 y/o border collie after our girl left us. He seems to have adapted well to being an only dog.
Still thinking about rescuing another bc of about the same age as our boy.
