Grandkids got an early Christmas present earlier this week from Mom and Dad... a Chorkie. I'd never heard of that one... part Chihuahua, part Yorkie.

Yup, exactly!!! He went right into his "act like a lil Ol man routine"

We opened the door after he slept in uber late for him, practically pushed him outside, where he promptly spun a quick 180 and ran inside and up onto the couch. He wouldn't even look at me, as if he was thinking..... "I am not the schnauzer your looking for".

We had a run of those super clear and cold days where it had a sharp cold feel. He cut his own morning walk short because it was so cold.

BTW, Miss Daisy it a cute score.

Hey Baz, I hope Winkipop is doing okay. We took Miss Olive for a hike today to work off some of the Christmas excess. She found a treasure trove of gopher mounds to pillage. Priceless pictures but have not figured out how to dumb them down enough to upload them here. Each picture is like 10+mb.

Hey everyone...thanks for all the support for Winkipop!

We visited the vet today for a full array of Xrays plus blood sample. We also picked up some more Previcox to help manage pain. The vet will contact me to let me know his opinion on what we should do. I'll keep you all posted.

Those pics of Sir Henry are hilarious, Bugs.....smart dog!

One of my wife's clients works for GoPro. He can get us a smokin deal on one. Olive is pretty funny when she is going after the gophers. She sticks her entire face down the hole and uses her muzzle like a steam shovel.

Still no word from my vet - which is a bit odd. I sent him an email asking if he's had a chance to look at the X-rays so hopefully he will get back to me at some point. In the meantime, the clinic emailed me the whole set of 16 today per my request, and I thought I'd post a few here in case anyone with more expertise than me sees something pertinent to her mobility issues.

The shot of her small intestines almost looks like there's something in there that doesn't belong (like big worms!) - but again - I have no experience in interpreting X-rays - so maybe that's how they are supposed to look.

I wonder also if her lower spine is showing arthritis where it is very fuzzy.











Thanks for any input...I'll keep you posted if I hear anything from my vet.

For now Winkipop is handling things OK with the help of pain meds...
