Last week was the first anniversary of the passing of my foster/adopted dog Tundra. Super cool, sweet, ornery and paralyzed dog.

The rescue put together a video from video footage I took of him- walking, dragging and swimming. I miss the guy- cancer with internal bleeding cut his life short at about 7 years old.

Yes - my boy Noah is a little too happy at times, just too smart and too full of personality but I attribute some of this because he's still a puppy, still growing, still learning. Also - he isn't neutered yet, that's coming soon.

All in all a really good dog

Also - he's turned out to be quite the guard dog. Always on the lookout for anything or anyone that may be out of place. Responding with a very ferocious bark and posturing.

Five months in with HANK.

No accidents in the house except when he got scared and peed a bit. He Uses the dog like a champ. He is active to the max. My jogging partner. He is a poop factory. Five times a day easy. He is so trainable. We send him out for the morning paper. Frisbee? Oh yea. Ball? Until death. He learned my hand signals to sit and lay down.

The only downside is that he is a bit of a dick to other dogs while on leash. More my fault, since I really am to lazy to load up a bag of chicken bit to take with me on our adventures. It's a fanny pack! ;)

He is okay in a hotel room. Very protective. Stays alert but doesnt bark much.

the one pic is the first thing I see every morning; Him and his ball.

I've worked with our some and she's better, and far, far from the worst in the complex. The funny thing is that we can take her to the dog park or the doggie daycare and she's fine in an around a ton of other dogs. As long as she's not on a leash. It also depends a lot (on the leash) on the behavior of the other dogs. Some dogs don't really bother her at all (mostly the ones that a very laid back and uninterested), others will set her off, and some, can slowly make friends.

That's gotta be either a tiny woman or a photoshopped dog.

Just like there is a photoshopped version of this photo of a Pelican regular (Radu, Bentley, and friends) out there that shows Bentley as bigger than the horse.
