My wife wants small dogs, I like big dogs, but will accept her decision. I have decided American Eskimos would be good (we want two).
Anyone have American Eskimos? |
Looks like a cool breed!

The daughter’s great plan was to buy a Doberman puppy and then take a job on the north slope for three months. So we are babysitting. Meet Azrael. |

That is a fine looking Dobie

So they cannot have Eskimos in Edmonton.... Our Stampeders are still the Stamps. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1717156394.JPG This is our old girl. She will be 14 this summer and is really slowing down. Short walks and no more ball throws. The Librela injections have made her quality of like much better. These dogs wear themselves out with their work ethic and stamina. |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1717943255.jpg Up at the cabin and almost had the weekend wrecked. We were having cocktails at the river and I heard the buzz and my puppy bark just 20 feet away. I saw the snake strike at her but Sophie's pretty quick thank Christ. The vet is 50 miles away. Kind of freaked the girls out but I buried the baby rattler and we had another cocktail |
How did the snake get defeated?
|
My buddy wanted to shoot it but it was in the rocks. A shovel made quick work
|
Don't you have to get in striking range to use a shovel? That's what I'd be concerned about.
|
They can't reach too far. I've dispatched many with a shovel
