Today would've been Boser's 17th birthday. Unfortunately on Saturday we decided it was time to let him rest. We'd had him since he fit in your hand, and was our first dog together.

Two weeks ago my wife almost ran over a puppy. She stopped to yell at the people in the house. They said they’d just had a litter and asked if she wanted one.

Aww, what a nice little puppy ! You rescued him from who knows what kind of future! Now, he will be safe, happy, and deservedly spoiled ! Happy homecoming Riot !

He came with a wonderful combination of malnutrition and diarrhea. Pooped dirt and rocks for the first few days. We were going to hand him off to some neighbors. But he’s fit in here fairly well so a decision was made.

It’s going to be ten years before I get the next heeler I want.
