Dogs are just the best, aren’t they? From their wagging tails to their playful energy, they brighten up every day. I love spoiling my pup with toys and treats—watching them light up with excitement is the best feeling! I recently came across World Pet Express(https://www.worldpetexpress.net), where they have everything you might need to keep your dog happy and healthy.

Lost my canine buddy from the past decade and a half. My little shadow and obligation 3-5x/day Dog was a unexpected Christmas gift from an ex-gf served in a paper bag. We had enough critters already. He thought he was her dog. Pure wild puppy energy until 3-4 years old. Pulled my shoulder out of the socket a few times. Un-trainable and stubborn at times. I was still learning too. And after that he was pure dog love for another decade. His gift to me. Stubborn sum o bich till the end. We went so many places together. This 'Puggle' dog had talent: As a pup one leg went completely loopy when running but later in the dog park he was the fastest in the pack when chasing a tennis ball. He'd deliberately pushed it through the fence on purpose and make me walk around. And then bark at the fence like a maniac. All the other dogs crowding around to see what has happened. Drama dog. He'd pick up two and carry them around in that narrow muffin. Show off. He'd walk up to strangers drop it in front of em, look up look down, and demand they throw for him lol. We did volunteer gardening for years at my dad's old memory care place and the ladies absolutely loved him. Good times. -Any tennis ball bounce anywhere required investigation to bark wherever it landed before.=Beagle -"Go outside for a walk?" He would spin around twice. Some circus animal genetics =Pug. -But if a strange dog peed in the front yard a 4" wide mohawk strip of fur would rise along his entire spine. Full pooch combat mode =? -I think there was a bit of Labrador and something else in there. My regret was not getting him a dog friend so they'd wear each other out. The poor cat would try to snuggle but he'd reject kitty. I never fixed that imbalance and should have. Next round.. edited: Thank you for the kind words and the pics of yours. Those are some happy and beautiful pups! |

Stopped by the breeder where I got my GSD. They have a litter ready to meet the world at 8 weeks. This is Hondo and Maverick, who should grow to about 100 lbs:

I lost one of my grand-dogs today.
He's been with the family a long time. My stepdaughter got him from the pound when she was a sophomore at Iowa state. He was found running loose, and they thought he was about 2 years old. That was almost 13 years ago. When she got him, she was living in a place where she couldn't have dogs, so he came to live with her grandparents for a couple of months, until she could find a new place that allowed dogs. He's been with her ever since. He was a quiet dog. The only time I heard him bark was when I shut him in the bathroom of one of her apartments, so we could leave the front door open and move the furniture. He wasn't much for walking. He was half Husky and half German Shepherd, and he would basically drag you down the street at his pace. I was walking him one day and a car pulled up next to me, and the driver yelled out "I want to get me a big mean dog like that". If he only knew. As long as you didn't have a bushy tail, he was your buddy. He loved everybody. I'm really going to miss him. After our granddaughter was born, the dogs took a back seat. They either got sent into the back yard, or ended up alone in the house, even when there were people home. They weren't allowed in the family room, and that's where the family spent most of the time. One time when the step-daughter brought them to our place, I almost filled a grocery bag by combing out his undercoat. You could make another dog from what he would shed just about every 6 months. We are worried how his sister is going to deal with this, they've been together for the last 6 or 7 years. They're not going to get another dog. The granddaughter gets annoyed and cries whenever they get in her face. We think maybe the other grandma's dog bit her once, or something. If the other dog doesn't do well on her own, she can come live with us. Per our town rules, we're only supposed to have two dogs, we'll tell them our little dog is a rat, or an ewok. It will be nice to have a dog that fetches again. Our old boy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737831540.jpg His little sister. Half Heeler, half Corgi. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737831215.jpg |

I'd like to know his name if you don't mind (?) None of my business, but I suggest the granddaughter be the one who takes the backseat. ;) RIP to your boy..... |
Sent you a PM Baz. I don't like putting names, even dog names, on a public forum. Too many bots.
I got a card in the mail today from our school district, inquiring whether we wanted to sign up our granddaughter for Pre-K. First, they don't even live in Wisconsin, but what database figured out how old our granddaughter is, unless they scrape Facebook or this site? |

I posted this before, but had a heck of a time for months trying to recover mom's dog that got out of a backyard. Flyers were put up in the neighborhood thanks to a connected woman in the area, vets and department notified, and photos went online. The word went out. Got a few emails from different sources. Some interesting responses. Some were from bored kids who just wanted to talk to strangers. A few were 'perfect' pictures of our happy dog riding with a well dressed child and woman in car. Did an image search I couldn't find anything similar. "We've got her waiting for you!" "Wonderful. Thank you. I've got got $500 cash and will stop by or we can meet in a public place, after the few hours it will take to drive there" Then the conversation turned to "I've got a really busy schedule and want you to send the money first using a safe method" (ie gift cards). One of those contacts indicated their location as a warehouse in Brooklyn per browser tools. I can only hope she ended up with a family that loved her. |

Sorry to hear about your grand-pup rockfan4.
I shed a tear every time I hear about another pet passing. Dogs and cats are the best people. |
Went to our Australian Labradoodle Breeder today for our first look at the litter. The puppies are now 5 weeks old. We are third on the wait list for puppy selection. Our selection date is 2/7. Pick up date is 2/18 at which time she will go to the trainer for 2 weeks. Thereafter we'll have her certified as an emotional support animal so she can travel with us but we're seriously considering Service Animal Registration.
The puppies were all sleeping when we arrived until momma came in to meet us and at which time a feeding frenzy commenced. They are all so damn cute! This little girl is a top contender! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737988372.jpg |
Super cute! Keep us posted, please.
