This last page was so great and cheery (thanks, I needed it) that I hesitate to post a downer: I had to send my last dog friend over Rainbow Bridge last evening. I'll be burying her in my pet cemetery today after work.
RIP, Presh, you were a good girl for 14 years. |

So sorry to hear Siberian.....I'm sure Presh had the best 14 years she ever could have had and after some time has passed you will be able to focus more on all the great times you had together. Thoughts and prayers your way from the girls and I. Rest in peace little girl.... Baz |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1478087107.jpg Don't have any pictures of Presh, as she came to me rather late in her life. (Abandoned at my vet clinic, treated for pyometra, adopted by one of my employees, then adopted by me upon the death of Delores.) |
On our morning walks around the farm, we average one mole or vole a day. The Heeler and the Jack Russel snatch and munch.
Rika likes to make sure they are dead and then likes to carry them around, marinating to taste. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1478267227.jpg |

I get that the pink ones are girls and the blue ones are boys. What are the pups that have the green hats on, Kaitlyn's?

Good work Bill,
I'm scheduled to work at a park and ride on Give to the Max Day. Little worried it will look like I'm panhandling! We won't be trying to get money there, just trying to get people to donate online. He's in a set of wheels, so should create some interest, people like seeing him. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1478911250.jpg |
Good on you Rutager. Wheelie Boy looks pretty happy to be the center of attention :)
It's spring here, but in Wellington it means summer/winter/summer and unfortunately today is a winter. But the pups went for the tropical look to brighten everyone's day. |

In a year, he went from 57# and they think he needs a blood transfusion or he might die, to 90# and they want to know if we would be willing to have him be a dog they use to get transfusions from; irony, thy name is Bohdi

The local news just has a segment on how to survive a home invasion. One of the things they said to do was make a lot of noise...get the dog to bark. Obviously they are not talking about Cattledog owners....the most alert and vigilant breed in the world and their bark is so loud...it's known as a shriek!

My ex de-barked hers before we met. It barked when she was at work. The retired neighbor threatened to sue....he still tried to bark but you could barely hear it.
Great alarm dogs. |
The problem with dogs is that, when the alpha dog finally shuts up and decides to take a nap, another dog takes over the watch and is ready to sound the alarm at a moment's notice.
