Another emergency vet visit. Now with my Bodhi...

Bodhi has been having trouble getting up from sitting and laying down the past few days. Some trouble with his back leg. During the night he pretty much collapsed and couldn't pick himself up, so rushed him to the vet.
My first thought is that he might have the same cancer that just took his brother from us last month. All his blood work and x-rays came back good. Possibly a neurological issue? Still waiting on more test results.

My Bodhi is 16 years old now, but very healthy. He is a little unsteady on his rear legs and stumbles some, and he's more than half blind and deaf. He gets plenty of love and attention as he's rounding third base.

That pic, as far as how the little man is seated, is like a photo match of my girl at home. She is 13 now, and stiff in both rear legs, with weakness. Slick floors she cannot stand from sitting, and sometimes even on the carpet too. Shes been checked seven ways from sunday with no findings. Old, that is what I am told.
Lily also checks out everything right on the numbers for blood work etc. Her back end is light in structure when you feel her up, almost just bones, and vet says that is just normal aging. We take her in regularly to make sure it is not worse, or causing her a large amount of discomfort, they keep telling me she is fine.

That’s just the way heelers sit.

My two year old is doing it now.

Yep, that is the typical Heeler sit! All mine have sat like that since they were puppies.

Bodhi is only 9yrs old, which is still young for his breed.

He has been on Prednisone and Gabapentin since Monday. He is definitely way better almost back to his normal self as far as moving around, but I'm sure the meds are masking his problem. We still need to limit his activity, which is tough because he wants to play. He goes back on Tuesday for a re-check. I'm pretty sure its a neuro issue. Thought it might have been Lymes, but that test came back negative.

I've had two Corgis (one mix and pure) with similar issues.
Both times the Vet suggested I just put them down.
Both dogs were long in the tooth.
Both times I took them to an animal Chiropractor.
Both times with amazing results.
From dragging their rear legs to 3+ years of mostly normal walking. In the latter stages, Shadow was also on CBDs.
