My poor Belle had to get emergency knee surgery Friday night. She tore a cruciate ligament. 2-3 month of rehab.

Went through this twice with Billabong and she's got bionic legs now!

Whatever you do keep that cone on and keep her as subdued as possible while things heal.

I'm wondering if it happened during a romp with the boys?

TPLO is the acronym for a $3000 bill. The good news is that your friend should be good to go after rehab. Mine did great for 2 years until started developing arthritis in the new joint. Now on meds for pain and does great.

Thanks for all the get well wishes. It's gonna be a rough 2-3 months for her.

Baz, I'm pretty convinced it was caused by the boys grabbing her legs all the time when they are playing and running with her.

after losing the best dog and friend we ever could have had, we decided to love again. we adopted a rescue cocker spaniel. he will never be or beloved max. he does not have to be. he is a loving pup and has become a fast friend. he has his work cut out for him but he is truly mending broken hearts like only a dog can do
