Haven't found my next best friend yet, but my daughter graummacated college last week and brought her cat home with her. Just for a little while.

I really like cats if they think and act like dogs.
This one ... not so much.

The DOG thread

Hey Sammy

Sorry to hear your still searching. Thought that lil feller was a done deal. It will happen, sometimes it takes a bit.

Cats are cool too. We have two rescues and one who found us. All three cannot stand each other except when it's feeding time. They then pass each other like their chums.

We are very fortunate with Sir Henry. Schnauzers usually are a bit of an attitude. We actually tell people that he is more like a cat in a dog suit. He is extremely mellow. Only has barked a few times and will come to you when he feels like it. He really likes older gentlemen with silver or white hair. Gets his little nub a waggin

A new discovery... Picked Jr up from the cleaners and had to stop off at the Home Depot. Hot day so we didn't want him on the asphalt since we parked in the back forty. So I pulled a floor mat from the truck for the cart bottom and in he went. Figured he would try to jump out the moment the wheels did their wobble thing.

Nope, totally opposite. Discovered he is totally content riding around in a shopping cart.

Second trip. The repin HD bright orange collar is a complete coincidence. Although, it's blinging in the orange store.

Nice work on the shopping cart, Bugs.....I wish everyone gave some consideration to how hot the asphalt gets this time of year!

Sir Henry hit the jackpot when he picked you & yours out as his human!

As for cats...they are great......my orphans have been here for over 10 years now.

This'll break your heart but it has a happy ending:

street dog in bulgaria, close to death

The dog was too weak to run away and had a broken leg

With time and love ...

I think I owe them a frosty beverage to say the least.

That last dog I had en eye on was lucky enough to find a home before I got there.

My daughter's cat is kinda crazy. So won't come to us and does't really like to be touched or petted but likes to stalk and prey on things like dinner tables.
She attacked the trash can this morning at around 2 am.

She's fun to watch but if you get too close she'll run away.

SAD... RIP Little buddy.
