It's been about 15 months since we lost Chip. We are fostering/adopting these two. The little gray female was born at the rescue barn, she's shy so her buddy gives her confidence - a very nice pair of sweethearts. First night here tonight!

Pretty amazing sleuthing from two photos. Factually untrue, she was born into a loving and caring environment better than 99% of all dogs.

I agree Don. That was a large, almost arrogant, assumption based on two photos. I've been dealing with wayward, dominant, and reentry dogs for 30 years. I didn't perceive any indication from those pictures that those dog's can't make great companions.

Why did you pull the photo down????

My apologies then Don.
I read way too much into the photos and gave unsolicited advice. My bad.

They do look like happy pups with a nice playground

I'm glad to see that apology, John. Of all the threads on POT, this one needs to remain the "feel good, last thread to read". I love the pic of your happy dog with a potential snack on his head ..

Hey John...

FWIW I do applaud the fact that you were actually trying to use some kind of canine behavior sociology to point out your observations. The fact that they may or may not have been appropriate is another aspect but I wish more dogs owners understood pack mentality and what their role as pack leader should be.

Carry on.......
