I want to say our last K9 cleaning was between $2-400.00 because Fido had to be knocked out. When Henry had to have extractions and a fistula repaired, plus a cleaning on his remaining teeth, $1200.00-$1300.00...........ouch ![]() What the heck is that, human?!?!? ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If you've got one good one, that's all you really need. Great shot of a couple of great pups!

This girl just came to live with us. My son deployed to Iraq a week ago and his wife who is working full time as an Army nurse, has a new baby and was worried about caring for their 2 dogs asked that we take one of them. Looks like it might be permanent. They found her as a stray last year and couldn't locate the owners. Mostly golden retriever obviously but she's only about 40 pounds. Gracie is getting along well with the rest of the animals!

Nalu has gotten big, turns 6 months old tomorrow. He's smart listens well and follows commands and hasn't been as destructive as some lab pups. My only complaint is he craps as big and as much as an adult Silverback gorilla!

I have a question about Gracie who came to live with us recently. She's been overly aggressive at the dog park with some other dogs. Is this just her being unsettled from being yanked from her home? Any way to work on this with her? She's been great with our senior poodle mix and the cats. She lived with a dog brother named Clyde at my son's place.
My wife will start her in obedience training soon. I'd ask my son but we've had no communication since he left Ft. Hood other than a text while he was landed in Ireland and Kuwait. His wife won't really know, she isn't really a dog person.

She was probably not very well socialized when she was young.
It's just my opinion, but dog parks aren't the greatest place for a dog. It's a good place for a dog to catch another dog's disease/parasites or for a dog to get in a fight with another dog that is not well socialized. |

you need 5 weeks to see a dog's true self after moving to a new spot. that was what i was told when Hellion moved in with us. he was the opposite. awesome with dogs..then after 5 weeks he settled in and became a bit of an A-hole.
we went to training. getting better. we were told we need to be more interesting that the other dog. for some, that means a high value treat, or for us..a ball or frisbee. when he is carrying his frisbee to and from the park, he is a total gentleman.
