Umm - what's your point? Of course no one wants to see that. What does that have to do with this discussion?

We regulate driving, as we well should. While we don't want to see drunks on the road, I think most could care less if they are home on their couch. We don't want to see folks yammering on the cell phone while ripping down the road, but we don't mind if they are sitting at home doing it. We especially don't like to see folks texting behind the wheel, but standing on a street corner is no problem at all. We don't want some clown driving around with a dog on his lap, but it's plenty fine if old Rover climbs up there at home. There are an endless number of perfectly normal activities that are safe as can be, and entirely appropriate under the proper circumstances that are horribly dangerous when behind the wheel. We don't regulate or outlaw those activities, but we do regulate what one can do when behind the wheel. Pretty simple concept, really, unless one has an agenda so they just pull the "I don't want them driving like that" schtick. Or, better yet, "I don't want my children doing that".

You haven't met him Joe, but he'd enjoy that. He rode his bike to work today, Tobra.

Island, there are plenty of legitimate applications for MJ. We've heard from a doctor here. Plus there's the guys, like Jeff here, who are just a tad intense. Wound up tight, as they say. Bundle O'Nerves. Sure, he seems calm but then, so do I. Clearly, he needs a doobie.

I guess 'all thing in moderation' as some say. On brownies-- is this like the "great stoner joke on the unsuspecting world" or what?? Talk about feeling like "oh my god, I'm gonna be blitzed for the rest of my life"-- wel then maybe your not supposed to toss an O of the good stuff in an 8" pie pan either....

NEVER do this to someone who does not know what they are consuming!

Its just that eating the stuff is a much more gentile way and IMHO works better...

Also, you do not cook with the leafy green stuff anymore, or so I am told. They take the product and make oil out of it somehow, then cook with the oil. Have not tried it but they say that it works very well.

I think I remember them putting it into cheese cloth, and cooking it down into a bath of butter. They then would made garlic bread, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, or even just put it on your toast. Great way to travel with it as well.
I was a pretty regular smoker in my youth, and I remember one cookie knocking my socks off. I had to sit down for a little while.

Fond memories . . . I vaguely remember laying in a snowbank under a pine tree on a friend's front lawn after a night of drinking & eating a sizable chunk of cannabis resin. Well, maybe not so fond . . . I was borderline heaving my guts out. 1971 or so.

That's pretty cool with Sam joining in, but alas LF is no more...not without Lowell and Ritchie...still some great guys doing what they love though imo. After reading about Bruce Lee's preferences, I ate almost a gram of hash back in college ONCE...I was trippin' before the night was over

Au contraire.
"Snow bank" represents two more signifigant elements.
It could be be called pentafecta.
