Everybody out the roads by 4pm 500 dollars fine up a year in jail Up to 40 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Got enough food, booze, games, movies. Cheers!!!

Is this really that big of a deal compared to Sandy? Doesn't this happen annually?

The big difference is storm surge and wind with hurricanes
We just get a boat load of snow. If there are no cars on the road, no grid locks it will be clean tomorrow. Worse scenario extra snow weight on power lines no electricity. Google blizzard of 1978 boston. That is what they are afraid of.
