Saddle bag. Small Carradice will hold outer layer, food, etc. More aero than a backpack, I'd think.

Thanks! The real kudos goes to JR for having good tastes as a young lad and then keeping it in such cherry shape all these years.

My new generic Chinese carbon ride (hongfu fm066)-pretty nice for under 800 bucks, integrated bars were 100-I have 50mm wide (25mm) carbon wheels at the builder's now.http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/u...keparts115.jpg

The reputable bikes are quite nice, if no uber fancy layup, and even the "clones" are ok-guys who have real Dogma's and fake Dogma's claim there's no significant difference. The market is changing. Google greatkeen or cyclingyong to get some idea of the less savory clones. |
I can do w/o the bubble....but a decent vintage ride and groupo for $1600.

I have two of those Campagnolo water bottles with cages, new in the box.
|
Neat looking bottles but the cages seriously stain the bottles with use. Or at least the one I had did. I prolly could fix that with a little head scratching.....
What are you gonna do with them? |
I've got enough useless s^it around my house; these are pretty small so I'll probly just hang onto them, unless somebody really wanted them. Really wanted them bad.

If someone buys that Kestrel, I want the bubble fairing.
|
I thought those early Kestrel's were fairly heavy. Spin wheels? Perhaps they're not, but the Spin back then were heavy as well and noisy with wind chop. I adopted the same EMS fork on a Colnago steelie - nice ride. Me weird and like that Zipper whatever thing fairing.
|
Here's the link to the blue and white Kestrel. Email/call maybe they will separate the fairing.

Mike, you like those Kestrels?
|
I liked the innovation and design back in the day. The mostly were ridden with Campy. Campy whore that I am.
My Lemond Zurich CF/Ti was one of the few I have seen with Campy.....I like rides that you don't see every day. Same with my SOMEC. |
