Did my first metric century today. 2:40 I'm not moving for a few hours.

I've only seen one Bowden Spacelander. Twenty years ago there was a small bike museum in Chicago. Long gone but had a great collection including a red Bowden.

Another 1960's funky muscle bike from Germany. Dig the fork and ape bars.

I just jumped ship from full-suspension carbon 26er to this. Haven't even hit the trails with it yet. Can't wait 'til the weekend! And though you can't see it in the pic, I replaced the Gravity Dropper post with an old 1993 Campagnolo MTB post I had in my box of "vintage parts"

You would think that the bodywork due to the vintage it would be thin gauge stamped metal. Nope, fiberglass.

Be a trip to pull a mold and make a few replicas. Working lights, Lithium Ion flashlight battery for power, turn signals....

I checked the specs...low end chain drive...use 700c/25 tires. Bet you could buy five bikes for $80USD or less new.....I know a FG manufacturer guy.....do it as a clamshell with the color impregnated into the glass.

Considering another folding bike and the VW name came up. Are any of these designed or actually made by VW?

Spotted this German monkey bike. Don't think it will fit in the back of a 911... LOL

Translated caption from a german site:
We had already seen the commitment of Mercedes in the world of the two wheels and pedals and another German company is now which leaves its mark on a bicycle.
Volkswagen has released 339 euros 500 units of VW Bonanza, the typical bike that we saw in the films of our childhood and that they had special role in E.T. or The Goonies, along with another model, this folding time that goes on sale for 429 euros.
Both bikes fall within the line of accessories "Goal", a set of accessories for the VW Golf, VW Touran and VW Polo jobs market to celebrate the World Cup Germany 2006.

Nice. How small is that frame? I went with Stans Arch EX and CK hubs over Havens. Buddy has Havens and they transformed his bike and speed. I had to upgrade to stay in the arms race.
Get them in a week.
