Selling a "Mommy bike"....

Paid $350......asking $200 or trade for 3 wheeler or best offer.

21 speed Shimano gears with VERY Low first gear, 26 inch wheels. Has bell, basket and cable lock.

Low use as the owner is older and never really used it.

Seat and handle bars have lots of adjustment. Easy on/off, Step thru type aluminum alloy frame .

Twist grip gear shifters and quick release wheels. Very little wear except for storage marks. Have original paperwork and manual.

Prefer local pick up.....but....

I have a slip on style Campagnolo 8 speed cassette and it is real close ratio.....11/19. Climbing a hill is a bit of a strain with a rear 19.

Is it possible replace just the 19 tooth with a 23+ cog and if so how much?

The current cassette on the bike has a 29 tooth cog so the chain and derailleur have room for a larger cog.....reason I ask is that I just saw a Shimano MTB that had a first gear that was 8 teeth different from "second" gear.

Yes, you can. The problem is locating the single Campy cog. You might be able to search on ebay. I say buy another cassette. Its much easier then looking for just one.

Morning AM ride was nutz. Two incidents: OLD MF in Cadillac pulling out of a country club. He's stopped waiting to turn out onto the road, looks right at me and when I'm approaching the drive entrance the MOFO guns it

Next on the hit parade: I'm flying 26 ish with a tailwind. Opposite lane and some knucklehead with a monster truck - hacked 80's Ford with a 5 ft high suspension!!!! and another idiot with a Chevy truck behind it plows into the back of it. I gave them a

eBay has all this stuff, an 8 speed 12-26 cassette will cost maybe $30 more than buying a single cog, if you can find a 26 cog.

Brit cyclist had it right in the 1950's. Classic lightweight, clubman's, rail cars, stations with elevators!
