That's pretty cool.

Of course, with that much power, he doesn't belong in any bike lane or MUP, ever. He's a scooter/moped, so he has to stay in the car traffic lanes (when on e-boost).

Heck, I know I did with my BMX bikes. My frame sponsors made me custom frames (I was very short and the junior market was limited back in the late 70's-early 80's). I even raced my old frame with my new sponsor's stickers once, until my new bike was ready.

Peter- Yours? Class. Good tire clearance + disc.

The Fall trail and gravel riding on 700c road bike is pure enjoyment. Everyday this Fall, rain or not and as a quick escape, I'll get a minimum 15 miles of gravel and single track. Dusk to dark whisking thru the forest with high power lamps makes it feel twice as fast. Only real concern are deer. Came close a few times to near catastrophic collision.

The fenders are great on wet road running but useless on the trails. I've given up on them and now removed. Wet leaves and twigs are guaranteed picked up and sticking in the typical pivot caliper. I can see the huge advantage of going disc, including wet conditions.

That's one mean bike rider. How the heck shows up in Paris in yellow riding tempo and wins the sprint at the Champs-Elysses? Busted for bullying? Well, there were real men back then. They rode all of them and won all of them. he's one of my hero that for sure.

Never seem that one, but I love the body gesture on Phil Anderson. He just want nothing to do with all that.

There use to be a unwritten rule that neo-pros would listen to seasoned riders, especially the established riders or Hinault. I read that he once told Sean Yates to take those bloody sun glasses off so we can see your eyes. Sean did just that and he wasn't even on his team. Hinault is a bigger then life tough guy. The funniest photo was when he and team boss Cyrille Guimard came to the US to pick up LeMond. They (two goofy looking French guys) were both dressed in jeans tucked in cowboy boots, large belt buckle and that big cowboy hat. What were they thinking?

edit:
I tried to search for that picture but got nothing. how does one do that, any tips? I am not good with that kind of stuff.

Oh, who the hell wins the Tour and Giro (or Tour and the Vuelta) the same year. Well, Induran did too

1991 Cannondale SE1000. One of the first (the first?) Cannondale suspension bikes. I used to own one of these. Rear suspension with rigid fork!
