He and I started riding around 13. He just turned 15 last Monday. We have been waiting for a Zipp freehub part for his Shimano cassette. 12 spd electronic baby. He out grew my old bike and we are just about done with his new Trek Emonda. I was really hoping we can get him to ride it on his b day. Oh well, way it goes. The Conlago is the piss-off-old guy coffee ride. Someone is going to give me siht about the incorrect wheels. Krysium SSC from around that time, the Cinelli Ti threadless stem and the carbon Look pedals.

Speaking of big bucks and missed opportunities, I remember when swingbikes could be got for cheap. Seemed like everyone that I knew that bought one used it for a while, decided it was kind of dumb, and then abandoned it to the garage. 20 bucks (or a bag of pot) would have been top price. Now the clean ones are getting 4 figures. Oh well.

Campy Record large flange track hub in that condition? Most can be polished up again with chrome polish. I say 100 bucks per piece.

Rather nice. Somewhere around $200 USD. (These are freewheel road hubs.)

Campagnolo Track hubs of the same era... $4-500 USD.

How can you tell if they are track specific? Holes? I rode Miche Competition and Shimano on the track. This kid was too poor for Campy

Track hubs have an extra opposing thread for the lock ring.

Note the extra smaller thread.

You guys have good eyes. I briefly look at it thinking large flange=track.
