Changed the tubulars tonight.... Cleaning 30 years of goo off the rims wasn't fun.... Two hours of scrubbing with MEK and I finally got it...

But it rides so much better now! Getting rubber that is soft sure helps!

I have some more pictures, there are some minor pitting and the chrome and some wear on the rear derailleur, one chip in the paint by the front derailleur that has been touched up.

Man, I wanted one of those back in the 80s so badly. lack of cash did me in. What a beautiful Ciocc. The campy group is perfect. you did very well. There isn't a scratch on it.

F'in beautiful. Check out the modern Diamondback on Velonews-Steve Hed built one with one of "several" 50th anno groups he has, its cool in a lipstick on a pig kinda way.

Drill w/ circular steel wire brush will take off the old glue in about 30 seconds.
