Oh, I am running Shimano DA 10 spd and one bike I run SARM. I think Shimano should run quieter, so I hear?
At the shop where I fill in, we use almost all Ultegra level chains. I run those or the sram pc1090's interchangeably. No difference noted.

Looks like Shimano chain this time around again. Tell me about the Whippermann? Are they lighter, and if so, by lots? Since I am out of the loop, any model suggestions?

Finishing the build on this for my brother for Christmas....one of LeBron James extra frames that i was able to buy while I was with Cannondale. American made 29'er, 26" seat tube! Custom carbon Lefty w/remote lock out. Part of the serial number stamped on the bottom bracket "NBA29 XXL" I even got to pick color, frame was raw hanging on the wall. It will be the first time my brother will be able to ride a bike that fits him...he's 6'10".

(btw cool video Wayner...)

WARNING-Long post-(digesting Turkeyday food) ahead:
I'm a fan of 90's mtb stuff myself. Just redid front end in gaudy annondized colors!

Also got new front Suntour fork recently for my gravel road frankenbike (Quality 700c hybrid fork choices are slim.) It advertised 63mm. It only gave 50mm travel tops. After removing all the dampers and stops on the inside, and using only the coil spring, it now gives 75mm travel and works like a dream!

While I was picking up the retro 26" Haro Master at Planet BMX today they made me an deal for a 24" Skyway TA frame set that I will build up for the track. My aluminum GHP rides great, but I jus5 don't trust it under me, plus they are no longer our frame sponsor. I was planning on getting a modern Hutch 24, but the deal on this F&F was too good to pass up and I liked mine from BITD.
Have most of the bits for the Skyway, but could use a set of Red Paul's brakes and lever to make sure that I can stop

Retro motor assist from Italy. Not new production but are re-purposed frames / parts.

Vash,
I've got a Long, Low custom Rivendell tourer painted by BOB in the color of that Atlantis in your picture. Beautiful bikes and very smooth riding.
