Black cars..... ugh, can't stand that color. You couldn't give me a black car. And, wanna know another thing, I LOVE Guards Red. I even proved my own theory a few years ago. I was given a black Nissan SUV for free *great car, btw*. I sold it and bought the same SUV in a different color.

Did I mention I HATE black!

I was cussing my 911 last time I cleaned it. Then promptly got it dirty again. Doesnt help that there is 50 feet of wet uphill grass between the driveway and garage. Interiors are just as bad. The carpets atleast dont go one drive without gathering every spec of debris they can get their hooks on. I didnt intentionally get a black car but beggers cant be choosers

The 'caps lock' button.
(for those of us who are non-gifted typists)

abisel 03-20-2020 11:17 AM

ok, I'll play.

Which is correct?

"There are three (to, too, two)s in the English language."

stevej37 03-20-2020 11:27 AM

^^^
depends on how you are using it in a sentence.

Funny, I learned English in my late teens when I joined the Navy.

No problem with the "(to, too, two)" but had a hard time with "than and then" until I came across the solution... If it's related to "Time", you pick the one that got an E in it.

Retail websites that load advertisements and/or things don't work.

The worst is when "create an account" doesn't work, or when you change the delivery address, the billing address changes and then you can't check out.

ANY LITTLE GLITCH in the checkout process, and I'm out......Just not that 'into it'. Left stuff "in my cart" with ZGallerie, and DWR.com.

I went to a website today to look for a new office chair. I couldn't even look at what they offer until I gave them my name, email address and phone #. Really?

I've never had a problem with any of those.

Nor effect vs. affect, which I see misused all the time.

Or principle vs. principal.

:p

My pet peeve is product packaging which is very hard to open. The worst is when they provide perforations but no print to tell you how it's supposed to be opened.

Hyperlinks to a newspaper or news site article and who have to sign up to read it.

“Cool” people who only refer to their cars by the internal manufacturer’s code.

Talk radio call in shows.

People who take pride in and defend their ignorance

^ Haha! That's like Bob Varsha on the old "Speed Channel". Talking English and suddenly would bust out "Reubens BADDA-CHELO", or blah blah blah in English and then yell out: "Robert KOO-BEET-SAH"! I'm probably the only person on the planet who thought he was a total douchebag for doing that...

Uni-lingual and proud of it:

nah, bunker busters require a plane ovehead.
If they can fly that far, for such a deep strike, and not be take nout.

It's all over anyway

Do you know yet which one of your family has been turned by us (um I meant to say "them") to a double agent?
