They can eat somewhere else... real tacky to do that every single day.

I'll throw in another bonus one...

These a$$hats that absolutely have to back in to a spot so they can make a quick forward exit. I watched these idiots going in/out until they're perfectly aligned for seemingly forever. Enlighten me... do these people have a phobia about about backing out...? Yet, waste time backing into a spot anyway? Only time I give a pass on this is a Fire Dept truck or vehicle.

How about someone with a full size Silverado extended cab 8' long bed?

Think it's easier pulling out of a parking spot while backing out? From personal experience I can tell you it's not.

When I back into a space, I know what's behind me as I'm backing up. When I back out of a parking space....and into traffic.....I don't have the same field of view.

And this doesn't even include situations when I have stuff in my bed that is so high it impedes my view. Like plants for example.

I hope this provides a little "perspective" on the situation....no pun intended. ;)

Ok, you get a pass... maybe that's why people choose to have a cigarette near your truck all the time... :D.... for the record, most offenders I see are driving passenger cars.

Those smokers.....same exact thing happened this past week, except this time they weren't parked next to me, thank the Lord. But this man and woman are standing next to their vehicle in the parking lot just puffing away. Grocery cart loaded and just sitting there. Puff puff puff.......

I don't know how anyone can cut a pie or cake without making a radial cut from the exact center to the outside (in the case of round cakes). When I see pizza or anything else cut off center I think 'what an idiot'.

Smokers.......can't get away from them........

Pizza? Shrug. Just eat it. But pie and cake - I share your concern.

That's fantastic! Good for New Jersey.

I have another one that deals with stinky smells. Coffee shops and restaurants who make their own coffee and release the ODORS from doing so into my breathing space.

Had that happen on Tuesday when we went to the vet (Island Roasters two buildings over) and then today while working at one of my accounts (The Smyrna Yacht Club right across the bay on Riverside Drive). Thought I was going to puke it was so nauseating.

So I waited until the 5:00 PM rush hour to teach her how to do it in her car. Apply the loud pedal, and get as much speed as possible to match traffic speed. I did it with no issues 5 times in a row. So she tried it. Amazing enough, when going traffic speed it is easy to merge in. When a long 18 wheeler was coming, tap the brakes, and slow enough to pull in behind it.

She finally learned, and a month later mentioned she no long feared getting on the interstate.

My pet peeve is the lack of a comprehensive drivers education requirement to get a drivers license in this country. Pitiful
(And a side peeve, me paying taxes for the damage done to streets by people who think they need studded snowtires in a town that gets MAYBE one good snowfall a year.)
(Oh yeah, one other one, 2 stroke leafblowers)

I noticed increased number of threads started with "Do you like...?" That's pretty annoying and childish...so that's my pet peeve even though I ignore them.

(true story from yesterday)
Joggers with an entire deserted street to use as they come around the far corner, but instead they decide to squeeze past a row of overhanging bushes on one side and you the dog-walker on the other with only inches to spare.

'get off my lawn!'

Baz 04-08-2021 08:34 PM

Probably a repeat but people who walk out in the street when there's a perfectly good sidewalk they could use. And it's ALWAYS a freaking couple walking side by freaking side so I have to go into the oncoming lane to get around them. Pin heads.......

trader220 04-11-2021 03:11 PM

Bicyclists who have no regard for any traffic laws and think the laws dont apply to them but get pissy when you give them a tap on the horn for being dead in the middle of the lane.

Police and Highway Patrols that don't use their blinkers. For Christ's sake, set an example guys.
