Order of deposit bond disposition.

I'm currently have a appeal going for two moving traffic violations. Was ticketed for weaving in and out of a four lane road, when the actual road was only three lanes... At county court I was found guilty. I proceeded to file a appeal with the supreme court. This was approximately 6 months ago. I just received a letter yesterday that stated:
Notice of final disposition of appeal by trial court:
  • Order of deposit bond disposition

followed by:
You do NOT need to return to court. The judgment of this court has been affirmed. Any applicable payment or posted deposit has been applied to the civil penalty. The matter is satisfied in full.

I take it they dismissed my appeal?

Was your appeal based on 4 lanes vs. 3 lanes?
Do you have any way to prove that you were not weaving in and out of a multi-lane road?

If you answered Yes and No respectively, then I doubt you can will any appeal to your ticket.

Just sayin'

Yes, your appeal has been denied and the supreme court has upheld the verdict of the trial court. As Z-man pointed out, the court obviously considered the number of lanes as irrelevant.

this happened in a two block radius.
I based my appeal on the ARS code for perjury through inconsistent statements.
so i also used distance=rate*time based on the officers testimony to show that the officer was not even behind me at the time of the said wreckless driving.

Sorry, but you did the legal equvilent of bringing a knife to a gunfight. It's too complicated to explain here, but the legal standard for overturning your conviction is different than the arguments you made on appeal. You would have done well to buy a lawyer who does a lot of traffic work a beer and chatted with him for a half hour or so before filing your paperwork. It probably wouldn't have made a difference (traffic appeals are notoriously difficult to win) but at least you would have been playing on the same field as the other side.
