I saw this one on I-75 last week. It looks like a old GMC motorhome mounted on a truck.

1934 Thompson House Car - It would take the ingenuity of a watchmaker to come up with the Thompson House Car. In fact, creator Walter Thompson of Ontario, California, was a fine watchmaker when he designed the vehicle for extended African safaris. This is one of the few prewar camping vehicles fitted with a telescoping roof that could be raised or lowered on demand. The house car was constructed on a Studebaker chassis and fitted with such amenities as an ice box, a sink, and a stove.

1921 Ford Model T Kampkar - The Lamsteed Kampkar had seating for six, a folding table, a stove, and storage space for camping gear. Each side of the body could be hinged down to form a bed for sleeping. The body was designed by Samuel Lambert of Lambert Pharmaceutical Company, makers of Listerine mouthwash, and cost just $535 ready to install. Although initial interest was high, demand softened quickly and production ended about 1925.
