TV PRODUCTION COMPANY LOOKING FOR A BIG PERSONALITY CAR GUY/GEARHEAD!
Attention Car Guys!! We are a reputable reality TV production company out of Los Angeles that is looking for potential candidates for a reality show on a major network. We are looking for a car expert with a BIG personality (preferably some one who is a rough and tough enthusiast- who isn't afraid to tell it as it is when another mechanic does a botch job). We hope to find someone who knows the ins and outs of car restoration, vintage vehicles, and car mechanics. We would like to hear your story. Please provide us with a pic, your background, and any pertinent information about your life as a auto expert. Look forward to hearing from you!

There really is only one choice. Unfortunately that would be the late John Williamson who owned Otto's in Venice. I think he "owned" Streets of Willow as well.
But, without Spanky, I would pursue a woman for the job. I once had an idea about a "Wheeler Dealers" type of show with a barracuda as the principal. Wouldn't hurt if she was a looker too. I don't know if such a woman exists. Edit: Looks like Craig and I are on the same wave. |

Sounds like they are looking for a combination of Mike Holmes, Paul Sr. and Jr., and the guys of Fast n' Loud.
This doesn't sound like it is for a major network. Sounds more like major (cable) network, like TRUtv. I would vote for Adam Carolla. Knows a thing or two about cars and would make the show funny and we might get girls on trampolines. |
