OK and I get that there would be lots of real world application but have you been around a bunch of young people in public lately? (especially Universities)
They all walk around pausing constantly to look at their phones. Or they simply stop in a public place to check their email. So yes lots of young people will adopt this tech. They must have a permanent crick in their neck right now so that alone should push sales...  But as I get older I would prefer to simplify my life rather than walk around looking like a cyborg. Information is valuable but so is peace and walking somewhere without getting pinged because I've got a new email is probably a good idea. I also avoid stress and I like to choose what info gets to my brain. Just my opinion but we should consider were this will lead us. I would prefer a simple life with real relationships.

It'll be interesting if and when it becomes commonplace. With the huge rash of thugs for phones theft in the big cities, I can only imagine how many GG users will get their heads smacked. And then there's others who will sabotage wearers. Just wait until will hear about laser shot at them and a GG wearer has an eye injury.
