+1. He was being an asshat, but not realy hurting anyone. The video does not show the entire thing, but the guys he was tapping were active participants as they raised their hands, clearly were talking smack and did not walk away (people walked by and none were screwed with). The guy that nailed him was not screwed with in any way before he blindsided the guy. Cheap shot all the way.

That is the reason I don't get into bar fights any more. No one fights fair and they kick a man on the ground. After he is knocked out. everyone gets tough and steps up to inflict some punishment. What scares me is that if you knock a guy out like this, his head hits the ground like a big pumpkin. You could easily cause brain damage or kill the guy and end up in prison for a very long time. It is always on video and the internet now...so it is hard to avoid getting locked up or sued.

He went fishing, and to the surprise of no one, he caught a fish. Case closed.

Bush Doctrine Pre-emptive Strike illustrated perfectly.

Quite a *****slap eh Denis? :--)

That happened in Texas. No way he gets charges or civil suit amounting to anything.

I rate this thread [and sucker punch] 5 stars!

That POS was BEGGING for a fight. Hopping around in a crowd with his fists clenched/cocked BEGGING for it. I didn't see anyone else dying to square off and it's clear that this nozzle wasn't going to be satisfied without blood loss. He knocked for quite awhile before next-door Darwin in grey T-shirt answered.

Douche-nozzle has left the game.

That boy just wasn't paying attention to his audience.

The guy that took the beating was begging for a fight (not really...he didn't expect any of the 4 or 5 wimpy guys to do anything but take it), but...there wasn't a fight. The guy (coward) that punched him just stepped out of the crowd and blindsided him. Similar to shooting a guy in the back.

If DN walks into a crowd brandishing a gun (flashing fists here) and points it at someone (here: slaps a guy), are you suggesting that DN has to shoot someone (punch them) before anyone can take the DN out (from the side or behind or above or with a bat or...)?

Wow...that is confusing. You make it sound like some sort of self-defense. It was not. It is this simple. I would suggest that approaching a drunk from behind, knocking them out and kicking them while they are down on the ground because you saw them half-ass, girly, ***** slap another man about their same size to be a bit out of line...especially by someone not even involved in the situation. If the guy that hit the punk from behind simply wanted to break up the potential fight....he should have just steppped up like a man and told the punk to back off. He did not.

pavulon 03-17-2013 02:11 PM

We'll have to agree to disagree...about the DN and my analogy.

I'm sticking with DN got a taste of what he was looking to dish out to anyone he saw fit.

GH85Carrera 03-17-2013 02:11 PM

The punch might be a sucker punch, but it was a real sucker that took the punch.

That video was great. One jerk changed from bully to victim. Perfect.

mikesride 03-17-2013 02:16 PM

Sucker punch, by definition for sure....Deserved? Yes definitely!!!

LeeH 03-17-2013 02:36 PM

Sucker punch yes, but in defense of others. I think the hazard of doing something like that (even if justifed) is the the punchee strikes his head on the pavement and dies. Hopefully, if that does happen, the jury agrees that the punch was justified. Still, seems like the puncher could go down for manslaughter.

It is like stepping on a roach. That bully lost any sympathy the second he punched the guy just standing there.

Agree, the puncher was not being threatened. At least it wasn't apparent in that video.

vash 03-17-2013 05:04 PM

that one guy missed with his kick!! he would have been done for if it got crazy.

1979 930 03-17-2013 05:36 PM

I think that guy is going to spend the rest of his days looking for that sucker punch guy and he will never see it coming !!!

Por_sha911 03-17-2013 06:35 PM

Shaun: how about backing off on the (not one but two) PARFy Bush statements?
