Bully beatdown or sucker punch or both?
 

This a-hole really had it coming, but not necessarily from the guy who gave it to him.

I think that's exactly how he deserved it.

sucker punch all the way. A beat down is done toe to toe. But one heck of a punch. Actually that punch would have hospitalized me.

When you start assaulting people in a public place, sometimes instant karma occurs. He got a double-dose, getting knocked out and then this youTube video.

He deserved it no doubt, but the two shots he took (mild as they were) are uncalled for. You never kick someone when they are down

Unless they're an @$$h0le. Then a curb-stomping is perfectly acceptable.

I wonder if this bully will lose his job after the Youtube exposure like that idiot who chewed out the girl at the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru.

That's old fashioned thinking, (from our generation). Nowadays, they think nothing of throwing some kicks into a sleeping fighter or going 3-1 if that's what it takes to win. I'm not sure that sucker-punch is even a term anymore. :rolleyes:

That said, having worked in nightclubs and having seen a lot of chaotic fights, you can expect to get dropped like that in a crowd situation. He had no idea who might be friends with the guys he was hitting. The guy who got dropped was assaulting people who were not interested in fighting or threatening him in any way...he deserved what he got. Ironically, the guy who hit him could have done the exact same thing toe-to-toe from what I saw on the video.

SXSW has turned into such a 3-ring clusterfuch that I'm surprised anyone still wants to go. :cool:

I find the outcome of that video satisfactory.

I see no problem with it. The guy that got popped originally didn't want to fight and clearly couldn't defend himself. The fact that someone else doled out the justice doesn't phase me a bit.

Maybe the jackass will think twice next time.

Too bad the guy who threw the punch can probably face assault charges and a lawsuit. That's how bassackwards this country has become.

My sister worked in ICU for a few years. She once told me a story about a retired man walking home from a store and was jumped by a bunch of young men. The bastards took his $20 dollars and continue to kick him when he was on the ground. He was paralyzed when he go to the hospital. This was in the middle class neighborhood (the San Fernando Valley). Just gotta be careful.

Doubt it. We used to say, "taught him a lesson that he'll never remember." :D
