I like the coffee mug idea but how about a Pirelli style calendar? I'm sure you could find some Art Center students to shoot it for you and models are a dime a dozen in this town! You could even mix it up with the cars in the Pelican Museum. Hot girls & 962s. . .Nice!

Any one item will never please everyone. But quality is certainly noticed. I wouldn't send out anything but a quality ball. Thing is, how long does anyone keep a golf ball?

I don't know about the mouse pad, but in terms of universal use and longevity, it's a winner. I just don't know if that kind of promotion is too in-your-face. The golf ball is subtle.

I guess that's why promotional items are a billion dollar business.

I still have my promotional refrigerator magnet, little toy car, stickers, etc.

Just to let you guys know that stuff works!

I would suggest something wearable like a pin or hat or a coffee travel mug that you can take to cars and coffee, races, events, etc. If it's a high end promo item like a hat or shirt, then I'd suggest dropping the picture of the pelican, and going with font only. Perhaps the website address incorporated into the Company name.

There are some great suggestions here - magnet, bottle opener, calendar, mechanics gloves. It ought to be car related somehow, which leaves out golfballs. Series items are good too. An annual toolbox/fridge magnet would give people an extra reason to shop Pelican at least once a year to keep up the collection.

The Pelican golf ball is a cute idea but unless it improves ones game, I'd say pass.

One thought and taking an idea from Rock Auto (BTW- great folks to deal with for your other cars, trucks) is the refridge / toolbox magnet. No matter the size of order, they always include a credit card size magnet, with the important company message, contact info.

But what sets it apart and makes it unique is the photo of a vehicle and brief description. The quality photo's are vehicles submitted and selected from their customers. The customer who's car is on it proudly shares his toy and the end users like the variety with the important company contact info readily at hand. The stock is always changing and perhaps for some makes a little collectable. Thin package. The company word spreads too as I've often handed the extras off to someone else.

PP has an endless source of customers with fine euro cars to select from.

A small vinyl window cling with the Bird and your PP username on it would be cool.

I was out playing golf one day and tee'd up a brand new golf ball and proceeded to hit it into the water hazard.
Afrer a few choice words, I tee'd up another brand new ball.
Bam, right in the drink. More cursing.

As I was teeing up a third brand new ball, a buddy suggested I tee up a used ball instead.

My reply: "a used ball, ........ I've never had one of those .....".

I'd have taken one of his out of his bag. haha!!

The cartoon look of the logo (not being critical) does not play well on some things. Or it should be upgraded with more detail to look more polished.

don't play golf since I was in that car wreck two years ago, as stated, lot of personal preference on that stuff too.

everybody can use a coffee mug, pens are good, key chains, coozie to keep your beer cold. If a give away item, it should be cheap, maybe have a range of stuff. Plastic license plate frame for the 914 guys, gold lapel pin for the GT3 guys.

jellybelly's would be a good idea they may custom pack for Pelican. Personally I dont golf so it would be a waste for pelican to send me anything like a golf ball.
