Why does anyone have an SUV? They like it, they don't need it.

Bridgestone Duravis was original equipment on my Suburban- 55k miles and they still have 20k or so left. Never had tires last anywhere near this long.

I have been using Bridgestone Dueller Revo's for a number of years now on different SUV's and pickups. No complaints and they seem to last about 60-70k miles before starting to show wear related issues requiring replacement.

+1 on the Bridgestone Duellers. We recently replaced the original set on our 4Runner and are happy with the ride. They are not noisy in any way. And believe or not, some of us actually do use our SUV's for more than going to the mall.

They are 255/70 16's. My Silverado is a 1500 2WD ext. cab w/full sized bed and the 4.8L Vortec. Prior to these I went through 2 sets of Yoko Geolanders, which rode nicely but wore too fast for me. I've also had some Bridgestones which were really nice but got a deal on these Conti's so went for it. I think I paid around $575.00 for the whole set (installed etc.) out the door.
