Santa Rosa, CA.???

Best reason to move there yet? Don Plumley lives nearby! I had driven my 911 to Santa Rosa several years ago and had some tire/suspension issues and concerns and posted a "cry" for help on the forum and Don met up with me and helped me formulate a plan and gave great suggestions on making sure I got safely home to MN. Now, that would be a great guy to live by.

I hear ya on the central coast thing, I'm a huge fan of the Santa Ynez/Morro Bay/Cambria area.

Problem being I just clicked over 15 years at my job and need/want to stay for another 5 to get my "golden ticket"

That means a state job and on the central coast that means working at the prison... I fear going from working at the museum in downtown Los Angeles to working at a prison on the central coast would be a wee bit of a culture shock.

The job in Santa Rosa is for a stationary engineer.

IMHO.....I'd say more of an opinion than an observation. An observation is something that is considered fact. What you said, IMHO, is merely opinion.

I think his title is just fine. It's an abbreviated version of your suggested title. At least he didn't substitute "U" for "YOU" or "R" for "ARE"....now that would be offensive!
