Gave my step daughter our old 2005 Elantra with 100k mile, paid mechanic to put a new everything on it (belts, hoses, fluids) still running strong, leather interior, excellent condition. She doesn't like it (did I mention we GAVE it to her... as in free!!!) ![]() I vote keep the 21 YO in the Sonata, reward the nursing student with the Corolla (or give her a choice of a Corolla/Sentra/ Honda/new[er]Hyundai/Kia)

My son had the same attitude when my brother gave him his old M-B 240D. 'I don't want that, it's an old man's car.' He changed his tune when I said it was the M-B or the bus, his choice. Take the car back and tell her to go earn what she wants to drive and see how she likes it then.
