PS Our 'free' health care is worth exactly what we pay for it. It's pretty crappy. Be happy you have VERY good doctors in the USA!
Well, that siht is going to end for us soon. sorry I parf this up.

How about eye care?

Trauma due to injury on the eye is covered. But regular eye care and things like Lasik are not covered.
I take exception to the comment that hinted that our doctors are not as good as other nations doctors. I believe they are on par with the leaders in their fields. Its the handicap of delivering the services thru the public system that makes some feel this way.

^ This.

Plus, there are thousands of scams to get you in jail and keep you there until your family pays a huge bribe to get you out.

You can be driving and GET T-BONED by someone running a redlight... and what do the police see? Gringo. CASH. Into jail you go. There will be no witnesses to help you, either.

Get your dental work done somewhere besides a corrupt hell hole like Mexico.

I've been using a dentist at the boarder for 8+ years.
The work is as good as any work I've had here and considerably cheaper.
He is also quite a bit gentler than most dentists I've found.
He was recommenced to me by an old friend who has use Dr. Meza for 15+ years.
Most of his patients (90%) are Americans some of which come from as far away as Texas and Utah.
When I first started going there his equipment seemed a little dated but ever since his daughter joined the practice, the equipment quality has skyrocketed. She bring the latest techniques as well as a fresh perspective to the office environment.
His office is right at the boarder so you can walk across if you're so inclined.
He's the first dentist I've encountered who cares more about what I want than telling me what I need.

Dr. Meza 011 52 (664) 682-94-30

US # (619) 356-6916

But the skill and education of your doctors won't magically decrease. Be happy!

As for eye care up here, you get free checkups/car etc. But if you need glasses YOU have to pay out of pocket and they are not cheap like in the US.

If you have low income you get free glasses.

Dentists and tattoo artists make a killing up here I know people that fly to countries like Thailand, India, Malaysia just to have a little vacation, have their teeth done and big ole tat (amonst other things of course....)

Dr. Meza is at the San Ysidro border. Sort of Northern Tijuana.
Walking distance (200 yards) from the border at San Diego.
