Nascar-
Adventures in bloated beer brain of no concept of a race car, thought to be a race car but is only a look like stock car clone from no where, no mother. A step child of the white collared folk with a gulf shirt on and his company name on a car.
Left turn clyde.......if we turn "right" we alls gonna die
Gone are the days of Smokey Yunick ,
When "stock cars" were from Detroit
and people from the earth.
nascar is so from from its roots......I cant stands it

That video makes me want to take the rear spoiler off my pick-up truck.

I loved the racing action of their last gen car a lot, aside from their "fixed" plate races.

This one has more downforce, and more interference when racing close, so drivers tend to take it easier with each other.

The TV coverage is what bugs the crap out of me. I hit mute at Watkin's Glen but watched the whole race, enjoyed it a lot. Some races you can stream in car cam's, and that's pretty freakin' awesome.

Does anyone think that the lifted tail underside for ground effects on these racing trucks contributes to the following truck's ability to invade the space of the leading car in front?

For example; I truly believe that a 911's low bumper and sloping mass away from the rear contributes to vehicles behind stopping way too close for comfort.

It's sort of like stopping at the rear of a trailer with nothing on it, a lack of massing or reference point ensues a certain disorientation.

The cars seem to have the same issue.................high tail, low nose.

The race drivers are quite aware of the space, no disorientation there.

Those tandem bump drafts there were doing before nascar dropped a pile of poo about it, were an incredible display of driving.
